A huge thank you for saving our reservation for 4 even though we were 30 minutes late  and they were super busy. (My sister’s boyfriend went to the wrong restaurant and we thought for sure we lost our reservation lol) Awesome menu. My boyfriend was so happy they have tater tots lol (he loves them). The spices were so delicious, making my mouth water. If it was so unhealthy, I probably would have drank it lol. Maybe we should order rice (if they have some) and just eat the leftover with that =O!

Hinodeya Ramen

Location: 1737 Buchanan St, San Francisco, CA 94115

If you like your ramen broth on the clear side and less fatty, this is perfect for you. Everything tasted good but my sister got the chicken ramen (tori paitan) and she got ONE piece of chicken wing on her ramen. Hahahaha! For $15! WTF lol. The place of chicken wings appetizer was around $7 for 5 wings. The chicken wings was delicious, don’t get me wrong, but on the ramen for $15, just ONE wing…So a tip is to get the Hinodeya Ramen ($14) and add wings ($4 for 2 pieces), which totals to $18 lol.

The infamous XLB (xiao loong bao aka shanghai dumplings aka soup dumping) spot that have a ton of locations around the WORLD. The original one is in Taiwan lol (fyi if you don’t know, Shanghai is not in Taiwan. Ok, just making sure) I tried to order a different variety of dumplings and only the dessert one was kind of out there lol. I probably have to go to Taiwan’s location to give them a fair critic. I have tried better xlb around the bay area and they are not as famous as DTF 😅.

Blowfish Sushi To Die For

Blow

Blow1

Location: 2193 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110

‘Modern’ sushi/Japanese cuisine. No, they do not serve any blowfish… but still an awesome place to hang out or have a girl’s night It was super crowded so I am not sure if that was the reason for the super slow food service. For every picture took, it was about 15 minutes intervals, except for the pork belly and the oyster shot. The pork belly was the appetizer and it came out after everything! Lol It took forever, not sure if they forgot about it or what. It  tasted pretty good though but not worth the wait. Then there was the oyster shooter…came out 30 minutes after everything. WTF? AND it was like drinking ponzu sauce, terrible lol should have added the sake.

Sakamoto (CLOSED)

sakamotosakamoto1

Late post: Huge Grand Opening sign outside so we decided to go in. Finally another place with a decent display for chirashi. That is like my must get now if they offer it lol. The rice was very good. Unfortunately the roll had way too much sauce on top. Could barely taste any of the ingredients. I think that is a common issue for sushi places (with no sushi training) is that they always want to create new rolls but probably never want to hear feedbacks lol.

Dog Haus

Doghaus

Location: 4480 Paradise Rd #800, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Probably the only place where they use Hawaiian sweet buns and turn it into hot dog buns lol. Freaking delicious. Especially when you add in German sausage to replace the hot dog…just looking at it makes my mouth water lol

Gangnam Asian BBQ

Gangnam Asian BBQ

Location: 4480 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169

You know it’s authentic and contain premium ingredients when it is NOT all you can eat buffet for Korean BBQ. I was surprise that this place was legit lol. And in Vegas (off the strip)! The set menus portion was good for the price and we were really full after. (Plus, we got free ice cream macaroon). I actually like the set menus instead of the all you can eat because you don’t have to eat like you have to get every last penny out of it. Great place to eat and chill (with Kpop in the background, which is always a plus for me ^^).

Mom Na Mi

mon Ami Gabi

Location: 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Was in a hurry so I did not order as much food as I wanted to. BUT, the charcuterie and cheese platter was HUGE, and it got us full (especially with the free fresh bread). We were told that it was actually a new item on the menu and they were tasting it out (and we were the first to order it! lol) Definitely worth the $32.

Takoyaki Yama-Chan

Location: 1737 Post St, Ste 395, San Francisco, CA 94115 (Japantown, SF)

A cool spot to get fresh hot takoyaki. There is a huge window so you can watch the chef making the takoyaki. The only thing is that the batter was not cooked consistently, so some were delicious and so were still just a little uncooked. They need more bonito flakes! lol and Kimchi topping was a little bit disappointing lol (It was cold). The best testing one is definitely the negi-mayo lol.

Mochill Donuts

Location: 1737 Post St. Ste 395, San Francisco, CA 94115 (Japantown, SF)

Freaking delicious! Nice, fluffy and chewy! Located smack down in the middle of all the action in Japantown, SF, this place is making it even more crowded with the line lol. Definitely coming back to try new flavors! I do wish they have the option of having no topping or have an ‘original’ 😅 for those that have less of a sweet tooth lol 😁😉
