Fresh Element

Location: 83 Skyline Plaza, Daly City, CA 94015, USA

This is like hot pot, but everything is STEAMED instead. It is mostly seafood so if you are not a huge seafood person, don’t bother lol. It is, of course, not all you can eat. You can order as you go if you like since you don’t really get to choose which item goes in first. The waitress will help you open and close the cover (of course you can do it yourself but they insist they do it) Everything was fresh and you can see it too since there is a huge tank in the back lol. My favorite part of the whole meal was the end. The porridge on the bottom of the steamer was soaking up all the juices from the ingredients from before and it taste so FREAKIN delicious. So make sure you have a little room towards the end for the porridge!!

Let’s Roll

lets

Ice cream roll places are popping all over SF lol. You get to choose which combo you want/make your own and then you can get whatever toppings you want for FREE! But of course, you can only really get so much cause it will start falling over and get messy/hard to eat the ice cream lol. Great place to go if you want to ice cream roll quick and cheap.

Tower Burger

tower

Location: 729 Portola Dr, San Francisco, CA

Your quick local spot for a gourmet burger. They can do a little more with the interior though lol. It felt like a cafeteria/food court. The menu was simple which makes it easier to choose. You can build your own burger if you like but we just the recommendation ones. The milkshake was pretty thick lol felt like I was eating melted ice cream. Unfortunately the patty was a little under season/not season at all for me.

Proposition Chicken

pro chi

Location: 1750 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94103

Another organic chicken sandwich/burger place. These kind of restaurant are popping up all over SF. The most memorable thing about this place was the bone broth…not in a good way lol I am not sure how it is made in Western culture but it was VERRRRY strong like to the point I couldn’t even take 3 sips.. In Chinese culture, not matter how strong it is, it is still hella good. So yea, not sure wtf they did to that. Oh and also, the price is hella expensive which I get, organic chicken lol but it’s still a little steep especially where they are located at.

Honey Crème

honey creme

Location: 839 Irving St, San Francisco, CA

The honeycomb on top of the ice cream makes it look so pretty BUT it was really messy to eat lol. Also, the sweetness of it was a little too sweet for me. The soft serve ice cream was pretty good tho. Awesome place to take instagram pictures but probably not my ‘to go’ place for ice cream.

Alameda County Fair

Location: 2100 Valley Ave., Pleasanton Ca 94566

My first time experiencing a County Fair and I did not prepare myself too good ahahha. I need to go to the gym after this.

Juicys

OMG, i can’t believe I’ve been missing out on funnel cakes all these year! It tasted so freaken good! probably cause it felt like eating a soft and really crispy deep fried dough 😂😂 The curly fries with nachos and chilli was an awesome idea, but a total hot mess to eat it lol waaaay too huge. And I thought the turkey leg 🍗 would be bigger lol

Sweetcheeks

If you love deep fried stuff, you have to come to this booth. Deep fried candy bars and deep fried nutella! Just look at the menu and it can give you a heart attack! O.O it was so good but after a while, it really felt like we were going to have a heart attack lol. Yea, really need to go to the gym…

Fabe’s

And you thought ice cream sandwich was good..try a churros icea ceam sandwich! WTF! who comes up with these ideas lol! It was so messy eating this 😣😕 and you have to eat it quick cause the warm churros is melting the ice cream but it was so good 😉..yum

One of  the reason I came was for the Dill pickle and then I see this! OMG probably going to die from all the deep frying consumption lol It actually didn’t taste weird at all. Pickle with nutella and beacon. Who would have thought lol I LOVE pickles!!

Raspados

Man, you got to end the night with a drink from Raspados. Just get a fruit drink and you will feel so much better lol especially with all that junk food. Nice and fresh and cold! 😊😋😏 it was so hot over there smh.

Eagle Pizzeria

Location: 1712 Taraval St., San Francisco, CA 94116

Who doesn’t like pizza?! and me and my fiancé wanted something quick and cheap (and delivered) so we got pizza. We got the Gourmet Vegetarian Pizza, garlic bread and the chef salad (just to balance it out and make it a little healthy ^^;) The pizza was pretty good. It was pretty well balanced and I was able to taste all the ingredients on it lol. The garlic bread was pretty good too, but it felt and tasted like it was the one that was pre-made from Costco. Chef salad tasted better than it looks lol. Overall it was pretty good, definitely one of the better ones for pizza deliveries.

Itani Ramen

itani

Location: 1736 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA 94612

I really like the interior in this place and the menu had really good selections too. I wanted to get all the appetizers lol. I got the fried pig ear (really good flavor and crunchy, would go great with beer!) and sloppy stickers (gyoza served with sauce like takoyaki) The ramen was ok lol the thing that stood out the most and tasted sooooo freaken good was the negi chasu donburi/rice bowl. If I ever come back here, I would order that again and the pig ears with beer lol.

Steep Up Creamery & Tea

steepup

Location: 270 Brannan St, Ste 100, San Francisco, CA 94107

They have an area to take pictures! Lol Genius idea, every dessert/boba place should have that! They have awesome simple flavors and recommended combo that looks pretty and taste great. PLUS they have boba that taste really good. A HUGE plus for me ^^.

Yokohama Japanese Restaurant

yokohama

Location: 1427 Webster St, Alameda, CA 94501

I believe this place is Korean owned by my observations lol. BUT it was a great find. It satisfied my sashimi cravings lol. Instead of boats, they have bridges lol. Great idea. Their chirashi was beautiful and was worth the price. Definitely a must try. A lot of old pictures on the tables too so they must be loved by the locals/community. =]

Salt & Straw (SF)

saltnstraw

Location: 586 Hayes St, San Francisco

Of course they would open up in SF lol. Be ready for the huge line. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the fish sauce flavor. They got unique delicious combinations of flavors. (I think Bi-Rite honey lavender taste better tho =P) As you can see, they have flight tasting, so if you want to try flavors, definitely get that. I wish more places have flight options lol.

Bobabia

bobabia

Location: 271 – 273 Baldwin Ave, San Mateo

Probably the most unique Boba menu I have seen so far. There were a lot of interesting combo that I have never seen before. We got the Boba magic and the taste was familiar but I couldn’t pin point what the exact ingredients were lol. Great place to try if you are tired of the same old boba taste and wants to try something new. (yeah right! Boba for life!) FYI, they do have the regular boba. *thumbs up*
